More than fifty dragon and lion dance teams
including top Malaysia national teams from
mainly Johore, Sabah, Negri Sembilan, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei and Sarawak
will be taking part in the
2nd Cash Sweep Sarawak Open Dragon & Lion Dance Championship 2009
organized by Chinese Martial Association
in collaboration with Ministry of Social Development & Urbanization
and supported by Malaysia Dragon & Lion Dance Federation
to be held on 1st & 2nd May 2009 at the MBKS Stadium, Jalan Bintawa, Kuching.

With four categories of events to be competed,
namely,
traditional lion dance,
lion dance on poles,
northern lion dance
and
moonlight dragon dance,
the championship would be a real treat for enthusiasts and spectators.
